Our 2.4 litre Ford Duratorque TXII London taxi engine operates on LPG with Petrol backup.
Certified in 2012 to Euro V Emission standard at London's Millbrook testing facility compliments our TXI LPG/Petrol London taxi engine that was also certified to Euro V earlier this year.
Both taxis are going through a Transport For London 10,000 mile specified durability test that they are monitoring via satellite tracking devices. A further emission test will be carried out after a successful trial.
